Western Digital SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PCI Express (PCIe) Card

This card and drivers were easy to install and work flawlessly. Simple stated, this card works as described and I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to add USB 3.0 (the transfer speeds are freaking scary) to an existing PC and has an open PCIe slot.

Install was pretty straightforward. I waited for a USB 3 controller even though I had a Thermaltake USB 3 external dock. Previous controller got so many bad reviews that I thought I would wait a bit longer. After backups that were literally taking days for all my digital media, I had to move. This had good reviews and the price was right. It has made a big difference in my backup speed. I mostly do photos, but they range in size from 10MB to 25MB each. I'm seeing speeds ranging from 50MB to 75MB per second. Markedly faster than USB 2.
